The threads on pedals come in two sizes: 1/2″ and 9/16″. If the bike is a bike shop quality bike (Trek, Giant, Specialized, etc.) then the pedal will be the beefier 9/16″. If it is from a department store (Next, Magna, Huffy, Roadmaster, etc.) then the pedal will be 1/2″. Get the style you want, but make sure the size is what you need; that is, 1/2″ vs. 9/16″. And remember the left pedal is a reverse or left thread, meaning you turn it clockwise to loosen.
Probably not!
The threads on most BMX pedals are 1/2″ and the threads on most MTB pedals are 9/16ths” so be sure to get the right ones that fit!!
yes you can they will fit.
