Mountain Bike Trouble, Need Help!?
So i bought this "Next" mountain bike at Wal Mart Two days ago and i got it already asembled, but i ran into some trouble now while i'm pedaling, the bike gets to this point where pedals get loose for a split second then go back to normal, kind of like if your switching gears really fast and it makes this popping noise.
In my opinion i feel like the chain is loose or something and wobbles and pops out of place for a split second but i'm not sure, it seems to be happening around the back tirre gears but i'm just not sure, has anyone had trouble like this before and can some one please help me? its really repetitve and makes my feet sli-p off the pedals i dont wanna end up crashing.
I tried Pulling the tire back and a couple of other thing to make the chain tighter but nothing works, the gears look completely fine at plain sight nothing is rubbing on any thing.

The problem you are having is due to the rear derailleur not being setup correctly. Take it back to Walmart and have them try to do it right or take it to a bike shop. When you buy a Box store bike they are rarely put together well and even luckier if adjusted correctly.
If you want you can try to do the adjustments yourself, this site should help,http://www.parktool.com/repair/byregion.…
Take the bike back and get a refund. The bike is junk, I know because i bought one. I got the Power X bike and returned it the next day. The full suspension ate up so much energy that it wasn’t any fun to ride. The chain would jump the back sprocket no matter what you do. Never buy a bike from Walmart. You are better off going to the local bike shop or getting a used one off of ebay or Craig’s list.
Return it and visit a real bike shop.
