Pedal Recommendations For My Mtb?

Hi,
I'm looking at replacing my standard mountain bike pedals with something a bit more grippy and better looking. I currently want to stick with flat pedals instead of spds and just wondered if anyone had some recommendations / tips for buying new ones.
P.S. I think the max I am willing to spend is about £50 ish.
Thanks.

straitline’s, there abit on the expensive side but the grip is like nothing else, 14 pins on each side, and there absolutly bomb proof, i have smashed them against rocks, trees and they still look new, absolutly no maintenece what so ever, i bought mineabout a year ago and they still look new and i ride whistler almost every day (im a local). but if straitlines are not for you, in that abit too pricy id go with shimano dx flats, there what my friend rides and there a bout $50 cheaper, but either one are both fantastic pedals
