depends on what kind of riding your doing. if you are into the freeride/ DH style you want something with a diameter of 2.5 inches at least. some i’ve used for this are the arrow racing savage DH tire, intense DH tire, and the maxxis minion DH tire. also you probably want a softer compound tire for this style too. if you do freeride but live in a city and ride on pavement, try the maxxis hookworms. for XC and all mountain stuff a tire with a diameter of around 2.1 to 2.3 inches will work great. for this kind of riding i’d recommend the wtb weirwolf tire, intense system 2 XC tire, and even the tioga factory DH tires work well.
