The shoes will work with the cleats. They are both the 2-bolt Shimano SPD system. The pedals come with the first set of cleats, so you should be good to go.
The 2 most popular systems for clipless pedals are the 2-bolt Shimano SPD system and the 3 bolt Look system. These systems are used even if the pedals aren’t made by Look or Shimano. Look is mostly a road thing — I’ve never seen it used on a mountain bike. The pedal specs will tell you which system they use. The shoe specs will tell you as well. Many shoes support both the SPD and Look systems — they have 5 bolt holes.

Your Performance Bike link didn’t work as you intended, but I saw the number 25292 in it, which gave me “Pearl Izumi Quest MTB Shoe”. The Spec tab gives “2-bolt SPD-Style”, so YES they will work. Neither the picture nor the spec list the actual cleats as being included, so you’ll probably need to buy them separately.

The pedals come with the cleats, shoes do not. Before people make such dumb statements they need to think about them. There are at least 4 different type of cleats available, probably more. Do you really think $50 shoes will come with 4 or more types of cleats for every type of pedal available?

I have a pair of the PD-M520 pedals you are asking about and they are great. I paid less the what they want on your link but they come with the cleats and screws that you need to attach to your shoes, as long as the shoes are SPD compatible you will be ok.

If that shoes on the link ( front page display pics of shoes, so many pics there e ) has SPD clits it can be, so hard to comment because the shoes has no specs or even model.
